Awakening

by melissa
(bolton )

My baby is 10 weeks old and is now awakening at 2 and 5.30am. He was sleeping from 8pm till 4am until two night ago. I feel we have taken back a few steps. What can I do?

Sleeping pattern change
by: Reena

Babies follow their own rhythms when it comes to sleeping. At six weeks your baby is probably having a sleeping pattern change. Why don't you try and push back the sleep time by an hour or so? This may help him sleep longer. And it may help to give him a bigger than normal feed before you put him down to sleep? Perhaps he is getting hungry.

And I find that babies often drift off again when they see their parent nearby. I am rather a fan of co-sleeping. It gave me a lot of rest.
