Baby does not sit

My baby does not sit by himself at 6 months. He will sit up unsupported for a few minutes if I put him in a sitting position, but will fall over afterwards. He only rolls from front to back as he does not like being on his tummy. What can I do to help? Should I be overly concerned?

Baby not sitting well

You may try to buy a

Bumbo seat
for your baby. He can practice sitting on this seat first. After he gets used to it, then you can put him on the floor with cushions around him.
