Baby Does Not Sleep Well

by Andrea

My 7 month old baby does not sleep well at all. He still wakes up anywhere from 3-4 times a night and won't really nap during the day. A good nap for him is 45 minutes. I am worried that this will either be a problem in his development or is a sign of one to come. Any suggestions what I should do?

Less sleep than others
by: Anonymous

Parents often think it strange and even abnormal but it is true that some babies simply seem to need less sleep than others. Some babies get overtired if they have too much stimulation, but others seem to sleep really well when they are pretty tired.

You may want to see what really works for you. Also consider setting bed time back by an hour or so ? it could be that if your seven month old sleeps later. He may sleep better.

I don?t think you need to worry about developmental problems; kids seem to sleep as much as they need, for the most part.
