Baby Eyes

I am worried about my baby's eyes. My baby just turned 8 months old and she is doing something very strange with her eyes. She often closes them so tight as if though she has just eaten something very sour. She also does this when she cries, sometimes even when she is just sitting. She is not in pain at all when she does this, however it still worries me.

Is this normal or should I be worried? What can be the reason for doing this?
