Baby Strollers For Triplets

When it comes to buying baby strollers for triplets, parents need to be careful, especially after the initial shock of the birth of triplets.

The birth of triplets could also be a cause of worry for many parents, as most baby care accessories are designed for a single baby and twins at the most.

et everyone knows just how troublesome it can be to separate twins or triplets for whatever reason.

In any case, most parents are adverse to the idea of separating their babies, especially for treats, preferring to do things together as a family.

A short time ago, being on the go with triplets would have been a major headache.

Most of the strollers available then were for a single baby, and thus having three babies would have needed three baby strollers, and even more worryingly, three people to push them.

Obviously, this kind of undertaking would be a teamwork activity, and many people were put off by kind of amount of hassle it called for.

Then came double baby strollers.

These brought a sigh of relieve to parents of twins but parents having triplets would still have trouble, what with the one baby left out of the double baby stroller arrangement.

It is thus in response to this need that stroller manufacturers came up with baby strollers for triplets. These strollers make being out with the triplets a joy rather than the hurdle it would otherwise be.

Essential Features Baby Strollers For Triplets Should Have

Here are the essential features to look for:

  1. Lightness: All baby strollers for triplets have to be light.

While a single baby might not weigh much, the weight of three babies combined is likely to be quite significant as they grow.

Therefore, the last thing people need in baby strollers for triplets is strollers that weigh a lot in themselves.

Ideally, the weight of the stroller should be much lower than the average weight of a single baby stroller.

Heavy baby strollers for triplets require a lot of effort to push and might be hard to maneuver.

  2. Seat arrangement: All triplet strollers should have a seat arrangement which gives each baby an equally good front view.

This can be achieved through a stadium seat arrangement.

In this seat arrangement, the front seat should be set lower than the rear seats, so that the baby on the front seat does not obstruct the view of the babies behind.

Seating arrangement can be a big headache for twins or triplets.

If the arrangement obstructs the view of one of your children, you could end up with endless tantrums over who will sit where as the babies grow.

  3. Stability: Triplet strollers should be more stable than baby strollers for twins or single baby strollers.

This is because while it might be easy to catch a single baby stroller from falling over, catching a triplet stroller can be harder, possibly resulting in an ugly scene.

As with all strollers and other structures, stability can be attained by having a base that is heavier than the top parts, making falling over difficult.

  4. Storage area: The baskets and other storage areas in these strollers need to be larger than in single and double baby strollers.

This is because of the obvious reason that baby stuff for three babies needs more storage room than stuff for a single baby.

Another feature to look at in this regard is the accessibility of the basket and other storage areas.

Ideally, these should be accessible without disturbing the babies who are in the stroller.
