Cannot roll over

by Vicky
(UK)

My granddaughter is 10 months old now and cannot roll over, crawl or move around independently at all, although she does pull herself to a standing position in her cot sometimes. Is there any cause for concern?

Pulling herself up
by: Katherine

If she is pulling herself up in her crib occasionally, she's doing fine. My 11 month granddaughter rolls over and sits well, but only recently. She does not crawl or pull herself up yet and the doctor says she's ok. She was 10 1/2 lbs. at birth and is now 25 lbs and 32 inches long.

He thinks her size may be a factor. As grandmas, we tend to worry too much. I've been told, if she seems to be doing well in other areas, be patient, it'll happen all in good time.
