Chewing Solid Foods But Not Swallowing

Our child chews solid foods, but then spit it out. This is foods that might have a bit more texture, for example chicken and raisins.

It does not occur all the time, but when it does it is very frustrating. On the other hand she chews and swallows foods like baby puffs or frozen apples.

Is there anything we can do to help our child chew and swallow all foods?

Need More Information
by: Aida

Here are a few things I'd like to find out to make things easier:

How old is your baby?
When did s/he start on solid food?
Has the baby experienced acid reflex or something like it?

It can really help narrow things down for suggestions.
