Does Not Eat

My son is 8 months old and he simply does not eat. He refuses to take anything other than milk. He also refuses to eat any fruits, vegetables or cereals.

He closes his mouth when I try to feed him anything, cries and screams. I have also tried to feed him, give him soup in his bottle and to use a spoon. None of this works. Any wisdom? What should I do?

Time to Self-Feed?
by: Anonymous

Maybe he's ready to start self-feeding. If he is ready to eat small finger foods, I would just put some on his tray and let him try to feed himself. The more you push him to eat, the less he will probably eat. The more I ignored what my daughter was doing during meal times, the more she put in her mouth.
