Help baby sleep

by Stephanie
(Dallas, TX, USA)

Maybe you have suggestions to help Baby sleep? Our 1 year old has become more difficult to put down at night. We are usually able to put him to sleep in his crib by 7:45 or 8:00 PM. However, he typically wakes up 2 times during the night and needs to be rocked to sleep. Then, he typically wakes at 4:30 and we either rock him or end up putting him into our bed - we are so tired!

We have tried a few tricks with little success. We both work and hearing him cry for several hours during the night is difficult. Any suggestions to help baby sleep?

Portable sound machine
by: MOMMYMAID

A portable sound machine may be something to consider to get your baby sleeping, especially since every baby is different. It may take a little bit of trial and error to figure out what your baby is comfortable with. We found music and soft sounds are very soothing for all of us. We started out with a fan then moved to a noise machine with an ocean wave setting. We even found a portable sound machine to take with us when we are out and when we travel.

Baby sleep better
by: Gill

Have you tried a late bottle and a small snack as he may be hungry. I find special formulated night time milk and a biscuit tends to make mine sleep better, or even porridge. Hope this helps!
