Helping Baby Sleep

by Jenny
(Canada)

Helping baby sleep all night is a big problem for me right now. My baby is now almost 9 months old and does not sleep all night even though he eats well. He still needs comfort at night or sometimes needs to be held and does not want to be put down. What can you suggest that might help?

Sleep Sense Programme
by: Anonymous

I used the Sleep Sense programme on my daughter when she was about 8mths old and it worked like magic. The programme guides you on how to teach your baby to sleep through the night and as long as you are persistant and consistant it really really works, I highly recommend it. Just google Sleep Sense Programme.

I think some babies are like that

Our baby was like that. Still is. Likes to be held. Have you tried an automatic swing? That can make a baby sleep while giving you a break.
