Putting My Baby To Sleep

by Tin

I was having a hard time putting my baby to sleep. It was getting frustrated because more often than not, it takes me an hour or two just to put him to sleep. Then I discovered that everytime I rock him in my arms for 15 minutes then lie down and put him above my chest so he can hear my heart beat, it calms and soothes him. Eventually he goes to sleep and after giving him his much needed hug I put him down carefully. By doing so, it makes his sleep much longer. I think it is because the last thing he heard was my heartbeat which makes him think he is still very close to me.
