Reducing Reflux

by Kylie Donovan
(Drysdale, Australia)

If your baby has reflux, as mine did, and the medicine doesn't always work or they are still too young to take it, what do you do?

I found that putting a telephone book under each leg at the head end of my baby's cot helps to lift the cot (thus limiting the reflux) without using pillows or blankets under the mattress. Using pillows or blankets can present a risk by babies rolling and somehow getting stuck.
