First and foremost I wanted to tell you that you have asked a wonderful question which ensures that you give a healthy start to your baby.

Yes, the feeding bottles SHOULD be sterilized to avoid infections to the baby. This is what you can do:

You can wash all the bottles and the nipples in soap water and then put them in a steel container for up to 10 minutes. Remove the bottle. Dry them and use.
