Throws Up A Lot

My baby girl is 1yr 7months, but gags and throws up a lot. She only, and I mean only, eats baby cereal like ( beach nut and the other types). When we bring any other food close to her mouth she will gag and throw up.

She throws up a lot this is been going on since she was 5month old. she just stopped throwing up a little. She siting and crawling at 1yr 4months.

She is now crawling and trying to hold on things to stand. But she is not eating any other foods even foods that babies nibble on. I just stopped breastfeeding her a month ago.

She sleeps throughout the night. And once a week she would throw up maybe 2 times in bed and we clean up in the morning. She often throws up after we put her down to sleep at night. I really would like to know if you have any advice or suggestions on what to try with her.

Frequently vomiting
by: Anonymous

If your baby is only sitting and crawling at one year and four months, then she masters her milestones rather slowly. This is not necessarily a problem, but you may want to have a pediatrician take a look at this.

And since you say your baby is frequently vomiting I would definitely see the doctor. There could be an underlying problem, infection or disorder that needs sorting out. The fact that she eats only cereal and so on is not a problem on its own, but if she is having trouble keeping her food down, then you should get to the bottom of this sooner rather than later.
