Wobbly Walking

My 10 month old daughter has been walking for around 4 weeks. She has been quite steady until recently. At the moment she seems to be falling over all the time and losing her balance more than when she first started walking. She had an ear infection 2 weeks ago and is all better now. I was just wondering if I should be concerned or is this typical?

Baby ear infection
by: Anonymous

Your daughter walked at 9 months? Wow that is really early!

I have known it to happen though a baby ear infection or illness of any sort can impact milestones. They seem to slow down milestones, and in some cases babies may even regress due to the illness.

In fact baby ear infections are known to cause problems with balance and so on. Could it be that the infection has not cleared fully yet? Look for other symptoms of the infection persisting.
